Gallaz is the all-girl, all Australian fashion footwear brand on the move.

Gallaz Footwear was founded in Australia in 2000 as the first-ever line of skate shoes created just for girls. Though girls have been skateboarding as long as guys have, the late 90s saw a huge resurgence of their interest. Globe, the parent company of Gallaz and world-famous makers of men's action sports shoes, responded to this new movement by creating a unique shoe "last" (the foot-shaped mould that a shoe is built around) specially fitted to a woman's foot. What began as a simple idea, to make quality shoes for independent girls interested in action sports, has since revolutionized the way girls actually move by giving them fit, comfort and support from the ground up.
